Club Meetings
The Ogemaw Arenac Amateur Radio Society meets at the Mills Township Hall located on Greenwood Road in Skidway Lake, Michigan.

Club Newsletter
The O.A.A.R.S. club newsletter, “The Amateur’s News”, is published monthly. All members receive the newsletter either at a meeting, by postal mail, or by email.

Club Membership & Dues
The membership year runs from March 1 to March 1. Members joining between September 1 and March 1 pay half‑price dues and renew at the regular rate the following year.
- $20 – One‑year full membership (licensed amateurs)
- $90 – Five‑year full membership (licensed amateurs)
- $10 – One‑year associate membership (non‑licensed)
Full members may vote and hold office. Associate members are non‑voting and may not hold office.
Membership applications may be mailed with dues or submitted at a club meeting.

Club Repeater
The K8OAR 146.940 MHz repeater with a PL tone of 103.5 is located in West Branch, Michigan.
Radio Talk Nets
OAARS 2‑Meter Talk Net
The club hosts a weekly 2‑meter talk net on the 146.940 repeater every Monday night at 7:00 PM. Members interested in serving as net control operators may request the net control preamble and Skywarn net guidelines.
Morning Coffee Net
Held Monday through Saturday at 8:00 AM on the 94 repeater. A great opportunity to connect with other hams and discuss the topic of the day.
Amateur Radio Licensing
The Prescott Testing Group schedules amateur radio examinations at the Mills Township Hall by appointment only.
